I recently went to a wedding whilst having a road trip with some of my close friends. I admit that I can never pack lightly when it comes to going away from home especially makeup and skincare items. But I need to practice how to pack lightly, so I decided to take only the necessities with me this time.

I'm so excited to finally be doing my first monthly favourites where I talk about all the beauty products that I have been obsessed with for the past month.

Magic Marc'er

Out of all my recent massive makeup purchases, the Marc Jacobs Magic Marc'er Precision Pen Eyeliner is definitely one of the few stand outs. When it comes to eyeliner, I am always skeptical to try new ones because I live in a humid country and thus, I sweat a lot. Makeup brands that claimed their products to be sweat-proof has been proven not to work on me one time too many. 

So when I first purchased the set that the eyeliner comes in, I was sure I would not like this product. Lo and behold, I was proven wrong. The first time when I put this product to the test it amazes me like no other eyeliner has.

Pilot: Overhaul

December 2014 – January 2015 has been a crazy month of work and makeup shopping for me. I’m always so susceptible with deals during the ensuing months leading up to Christmas and the sales post-Christmas, but I think last year’s deals have been the craziest! Sephora is also being very generous with their sales this time around and I couldn't be happier. The same can’t be said about my account balance though.
